Surprisingly good for 14g metal slugged chips
By: Andrew on 25 September 2022Wanted to say much thanks for getting these samples along with the other samples I ordered here to NY. These came FAST too. Onto the review itself--for budget-range, metal slug insert chips that feel heavier than actual casino chips, these are the best I've handled. There's no flashing along the edges and they even stand on edge if you want them to do that. The colors are vibrant, the inlay stickers look great, and I really love the diamond mold as it compliments the chip line theme very well. Only thing that this set seems to be lacking are more denominations. The Diamond looks like it's very much suited to work as a tournament chip, so a 25K chip would be a most welcome addition to the line. Also one of the sample chips--the 1K one--somehoe arrived damaged (corner chipped off; easily repaired with Gorilla Glue) but that I'm attributing to a fluke as the chip samples were packed and protected very well. All in all, a very good set for those looking to get a line of chips that look and handle great without breaking the bank. (On a side note, a 2.50 chip for The Diamond chip line would be really neat for things like Blackjack and $7.50/$15 limit games which only work with boatloads of 2.50s. Not many 2.50 chips are available off-the-shelf at the same price point as The Diamond.)
